This year’s theme for the QScholars Annual Symposium is:

“Alphabet Soup: Spooning up Identities Amidst Simmering Tensions.”

Thursday, May 19th, 2016, Kerchoff Grand Salon

12 students will present LGBTQ-related research revolving around common themes of identity formation, intra-community politics, contested spaces, and intersectionality. UCLA Alumnus Dafne Luna will present a talk about community activism, and will participate in an open conversation about moving LGBTQ learning and activism out of the academic ivory tower and into the community where positive change may be affected.
